Integrated Listening Systems (iLs)

What is iLs?

The Integrated Listening System (iLS) combines music, movement and language exercises for the purpose of improving brain function.

The programs are designed to be fun, movement based activities that can be used in isolation or in conjunction with other methods. iLS uses a staged approach, starting with the fundamentals of sensory integration in order to train the brain and body. iLS is proven to be effective for improving an individual’s emotional/physical self regulation, self confidence/social engagement, sensory integration and language/cognitive processing.

iLS has a number of different programs including:

ILS FOCUS™ SERIES

The Focus Series is a multi-sensory program that combines auditory, balance and visual activities. The Focus Systems include iTouch with preloaded music, air/bone conduction headphones, and an Integration Kit. The Focus Program can be used as an in-clinic or home based program. The devices are available to hire or purchase from the clinic directly.

VOICEPRO™

The VoicePro is a unique tool designed to help children and adults improve various auditory processing skills. It is applicable for all ages and abilities and targets articulation, phonemic awareness, auditory memory, auditory figure ground and dichotic listening. It has also shown effectiveness to improve social skills with children on the autism spectrum.
